Conference Description

Roundtable On Leadership Development

Leaders today face challenges of incredible breadth and complexity, and the problems we face as a society can only be solved by trained and committed leaders.

The University of Tennessee College of Law founded the Institute for Professional Leadership to address these sorts of challenges.

We join with law schools throughout the country that are stepping forward to train students, faculty, and leaders in the legal field.

This roundtable will provide an opportunity for those involved in legal leadership education to share ideas and experiences. Workshops will address integrating well-being into legal leadership curricula, how to develop effective leadership skills, and how to best assess those leadership development efforts.

The event will feature keynote addresses from American Bar Association President Robert Carlson and North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Cheri Beasley.
